Terms of Use

What the Service does, what it cannot promise, and what you agree to when you use it.

Last updated: 22 July 2026

By using the AI Hidden Camera Detector Pro app or the website at hiddencameradetector.app (the "Service"), operated by Easifystudios, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Service.

What the Service is, and is not

The Service provides tools that help you look for signs of nearby electronic devices and potential surveillance equipment using the sensors in your iOS device. It is a detection aid, not a certified counter-surveillance instrument.

Results are informational. They cannot identify every device, they can flag ordinary objects such as screws, mirrors, chargers and building wiring, and no result — including a completely clear one — should be treated as proof that a space is free of recording devices. Devices with no active radio, no infrared emission, no visible lens aperture from your position and no magnetic signature near the surface may not be detectable by any method the Service uses. If your circumstances are serious, engage a professional technical surveillance countermeasures service or the police rather than relying on this Service.

Your responsibilities

  • Use the Service in compliance with all laws that apply to you.
  • Do not use it to conduct surveillance, to harass anyone, or to violate anyone's privacy. Scanning devices and networks you have no lawful right to examine may itself be unlawful.
  • You are solely responsible for how you interpret results and what you do about them. In particular, do not dismantle, remove or interfere with any device you believe is recording you — you may destroy evidence and you may be committing an offence. Photograph it in place and contact the police.
  • You are responsible for keeping your own device and Apple Account secure.

Purchases and subscriptions

The app is free to download and may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple under Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple Account. Refunds are issued by Apple at its discretion; we cannot issue them on Apple's behalf. See the support page for the process.

Intellectual property

The app, this website, and their content and design are owned by Easifystudios. You may read, quote and link to material on this site with attribution. You may not redistribute the app or reproduce substantial portions of the site as your own.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that detection results will be accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Easifystudios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, privacy or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including any loss arising from a device the Service failed to detect, or from action taken on the basis of a result the Service reported. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms at any time; continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the Service.

AI Hidden Camera Detector Pro is a detection aid, not a certified counter-surveillance instrument. It uses standard iPhone sensors and cannot guarantee that a space is free of recording devices. Treat results as signals worth investigating, not as proof. If you believe you have found a camera recording you without consent, contact local law enforcement.
