Privacy Policy

This policy covers the AI Hidden Camera Detector Pro iOS app and the website at hiddencameradetector.app, both operated by Easifystudios ("we", "our", "us"). It explains what is collected, what is not, and why.

The app

What we do not collect

We do not collect, store or sell personally identifiable information through the app. There is no account to create. We never see your scan results — no lens detections, no device lists, no magnetic readings, no images from your camera.

Device permissions and why they are needed

• Camera — required for the AI lens detection and infrared scan modes. The camera feed is analysed live on your device and is not recorded, stored or transmitted.
• Local network — required for the Wi-Fi scanner to enumerate devices on the network your iPhone has joined. The resulting list stays on your device.
• Bluetooth — required for the Bluetooth scanner to list nearby broadcasting devices.
• Motion sensors — the magnetometer readings used by the magnetic field detector.

All four are processed on device. You can revoke any of them at any time in the iOS Settings app; the corresponding scan mode will stop working, and nothing else will.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive aggregate, anonymised sales reporting from Apple and never receive your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Diagnostics

If you have enabled sharing of analytics and crash data with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with anonymised crash reports and performance data. This is controlled by your device settings, not by the app, and it contains no scan content.

This website

hiddencameradetector.app uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which links are followed, so we know what to write next. This collects standard web analytics data including approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and clicks on App Store links. It is used in aggregate. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors and we do not combine website analytics with anything from the app — there is no shared identifier between them, because the app has no account system.

Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on, a tracker-blocking extension, or your browser's privacy settings. The site functions identically with analytics blocked.

The website sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party advertising or social media trackers. Links to the App Store are ordinary links; following one takes you to Apple, whose privacy policy then applies.

Children

The app and this site are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because the app holds no personal data on our servers, there is generally nothing for us to export or erase — deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device. If you are in a jurisdiction granting rights of access, correction or erasure and you believe we hold data about you, write to us and we will respond.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date above.
